Due to an incorrect diagnosis and improper medical treatment, both my kidneys received permanent damage from a very rare reaction to a prescription medication at the young age of 19. I have survived for a few years with minimal kidney function, but have reached a point where they are completely failing. Without a transplant, I will die.

My wonderful sister was set to be the donor, but as of February 2025, right at the finish line, an ultra-rare genetic condition was discovered, eliminating her compatibility.

I am now back to square one, rushing to find a non-family live donor ASAP to minimize my time on dialysis, a process that will keep me alive at great cost to my life and body.
